2001 Mercury Cougar ZN Edition?

Im gunna get a used Mercury Cougar ZN Edition and I was just wondering who has a cougar it doesn't have to be the ZN edition but i was wondering what you like about it,and what you don't like about it. thank you!!

Until recently I had a 2000 Cougar, V6 MTX. If youre willing to take care of it it is a great car.
The good stuff: It handles better than almost anything else on the market. Low end power is much better than the competition. Distinct style. BFG Traction T/As were designed for the Cougar and cars like it-they are the perfect tires for the car (avoid the Firehawks). Tons of power potential for the engine-it was heavily limited in the production version so it wouldnt hurt Mustang sales. Great community of enthuiast-newcougar.org and teamneco.com. Much cheaper than comparable cars.

The bad: Sunroof rails (most '01s have metal rails though, so you will most likely be safe from that issue). Stock engine has low power output, only 170hp and 165tq. Its quick with the MTX, but the ATX came from a Mazda economy car and saps the power. The V6 ATX puts about the same power to the wheels as the I4 MTX. It isnt the most reliable in its class (but the regular issues with it are generally easy to fix). Horrible resale value (hence cheaper than competition)

i have a plain ol' 01 cougar. my likes? its cute, it has a lot of more upscale features like warning for weather conditions and a decent sound system. the gas mileage is pretty incredible for a v6 also. My dislikes? i dont know if its just my car but the head lights are really really dim. i can barely see where turns are sometimes and im kind of scared im going to run into something someday. but the high-beams are SUPER bright to make up for it. my other dislike is that the steering wheel doesnt drop enough for my body. im kind of short, and i dont like to sit with the airbag like right on my chest like some retards.
