Leftovers...Out of control?

Do you keep leftover food? If so how long do you keep it? Do you have any scary leftover stories?
When I was single we did an experiment-it took 8 months for a half empty gallon of milk to rupture a plastic milk jug! LMAO

In response to Ashleigh-McDonalds milkshakes look the same after setting out all night at room temp as when it was sold!

I ususally keep leftover food for one or two days (depending on what the food is). Half a watermelon liquified in my fridge once, and I have had numerous things go off on me when I haven't been at home to clean out the fridge regularly. Something interesting though, McDonalds chips still look edible a month after they have were made.... just a little experiment I did in my freshman year at University.
