Some studies have indicated that female orgasm after the man ejaculates may slightly increase the chances of success but not enough to worry about it if it doesn't happen. Every other day is just right so your hubby's sperm have time to build back up after ejaculation. Good luck to you!

Many women do NOT have textbook cycles. Therefore Day counting may not be helpful. If there is a delay in conception, day counting would not be able to help you pinpoint the cause either.
As for orgasm: Apparently, it CAN help to have an orgasm after the man orgasms. The cervix dips down into the sperm deposited and this assists the sperms travel toward the egg. It's NOT necessary though. Of course, it makes the process a whole lot more enjoyable.
I highly recommend charting your fertility signs. Your chart can tell you when you are fertile, when you are not, when you are ovulating, when to expect your next period, and when to suspect pregnancy. Your chart can also tell you if there are issues delaying conception or causing difficulty w/ carrying a pregnancy and if there are serious issues which need a doc's attention.
Some good sources for charting your fertility signs: Fertilityfriend.com (free software as well as a pay-for version and on-line charting turorial); ovusoft.com (discussion boards for many fertility related issues, much info on fertility after the pill, and a very good software for purchase). The books Taking Charge of Your Fertility (associated w/ the the ovusoft website and software), The Art of Natural Family Planning, and Garden of Fertility

1) Take prenatal vitamins
2) Reduce caffeine intake
3) Eliminate alcohol
4) Continue to chart your BBT & check cervical mucus. Your chance of conceiving increase if you are able to identify when you ovulate. But you may not ovulate at the same time each month.
5) Have sex every other day.
6) Relax and enjoy the process. Try not to stress b/c stress can delay ovulation.
7) It really doesn't matter if you have an orgasm or not. It helps but not enough to make a difference.
In response to when a woman get pregnant, a woman can only get pregnant when she ovulates. Some women ovulate earlye nough in their cycle that they can get pregnant if they have sex while they have their period.

I'm no doc, but from my reading and research, Yes. It is a little more helpful for the female to orgasm during sex, as this relaxes your cervix, and better lubricates your vagina, thus making the trip for sperm a little easier. Sounds like you are doing everything else right on track. And hey, don't sweat it if you don't orgasm every time! It's not necessary, just helpful. Good luck

i honestly dont think you having an orgasm has anything to do with it - i think the male end has to be the one to orgasm lol
and the amount of sex you have doesnt really matter as far as im concerned, what ya need to do is quite worrying about it and just let it happen. Its only been 3 months, right? me and my sons father tried to concieve for almost a year then i gave up on it, 3 months after i gave up i was 2 months preg lol
and for the person that just wrote below me -- you can get pregnant anytime of the month - sh*t i know people that got preg while actually on their period..

Well, you know when you ovulate...that is good. Since you can only get pregnant when you ovulate have sex around that time. Just remember that your egg waits for only 24 hours yet the sperm can live in you for about 5 days!
