Yes. When you consider the relief at the defeat of the last Tory government and people wanted a listening caring government.
The war is what Blair will be judged on by history and badly I feel.

Housing ,and Collect Handouts and Freebies virtually at will --- These Bastards who Pose as a Government are in reality -- the "Enemies of the State" and are Destroying Great Britain on a Daily Basis ..... Preparing to Hand Over everything to Europe .....

I think the public have lost confidencec in Tony Blair and not the labour party. if they can hold on through the next election with Gordon Brown in charge then I think public confidence could be restored. the Labour party have done some good things since coming to power, alot of good things, but the war in Iraq will be its legacy and that is down to TB.

Of course! But it's not just Iraq. It's everything. The Scottish Mafia run this country and Blair likes to be liked.
He wants to be known as the best Prime Minister ever! He loves to pick up on things like Helen Mirren winning the Oscar and stupid things like that because it makes him feel part of "Cool Britain".
I predict that Labour under Gordon Brown will fail dismally at the next election.

They lost public confidence way before Iraq. The problem is they pretend to listen to Joe public and then go off on their own agenda and if anyone thinks that Cameron will be in charge of a more caring government then they must have very short memories.

They lost my confidence before the war. New Labour have been a disappointing disgrace. They should have come in with a mental health warning.

Yes - they have - but it is a lot more than the Iraq war. That has highlighted their other failures. It also made people aware that they have not being telling the truth on a wide variety of subjects.

That and the fact they've been caught with their pants down too many times and found to be lying, greedy self centred muppets, but the idiots here will still vote them in as most of todays voters just follow like greedy little sheep.

yes, they have lost a lot of confidence and credibility. although they have sorted out a lot of mess left by the Tories before they have made a few errors themselves. they could win it back quite easily by listening to the people who pay their wages! Us tax payers. If they just pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan, abolish the new road price tax system, sort out the illegal immigrants they'll have a chance to stay in power. Please dont let cronnie Cameron and his idiots in. Labour may leave crumbs on the table but the Tories will take them away!

Yes it has. They're lagging in the opinion polls and the SNP are gaining prestige in Scotland.
