It seems that black people shy away from the truth, get offended, cuss you out, tell a lie(I don't have a bad attitude and Iam the most beautiful person with my fake, tacky weave or my blonde weave don't make me look ghetto.) Its a shame that whites seem to be more honest and open minded. It shows you that blacks still have a slaves mentality.

WOW!!!! IT TALKS!!! IT TALKS!!! :)

You are either very STUPID.... or suffer from severe ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT. ( how sad)

THis question is coming from thesame girl who claims that Black people put each other down to impress white people..... Isn't that exactly what you're doing right now?????

You honestly believe that being on YA gives you access to the opinions of most Black and White people :) (how very stupid)

To answer your question... you really are ignorant.... grow up!

Why are you looking for whites to validate you and your insults against your own race? Yes, blond weave looks really tacky on dark skinned blacks, especially when they are really fat and unwashed... but weaves also can look tacky on white, Paris Hilton, anyone remember her? I don't consider myself as having a bad attitude, I'm just not some demure individual with a sweet disposition, and by the things you post, it seems you're not one of the most pleasant of people either. I do not consider myself as having a slave mentality, I am a well adjusted multi-racial black woman. I do not wear a weave, I have hair that's almost to the middle of my back, I do get relaxers and wear a short wig, though for my own reasons that are no business of yours. Why are you being so judgemental? Why should you care if Shaniqua down the street wears an obvious weave? That isn't your concern, be concerned about yourself... you really do have issues.

Miss Thing get a clue! 1st of all the world does not revolve around your tacky @ss! And 2nd of all it's not all about you! We as black people might black out on you if you ask us something that we have no interest in such as yourself. Obviously people got tired of hearing about mimi, mimi, mimi (me me me me me) meaning you! We as black people just tell it like it is! We're real, we pretty much don't care about people who are shallow and if you don't care for the comments that black people give you, then maybe you should keep it movin! I'm proud of my race of people and I'm glad we're the way we are! But you keep this in mind, not all blacks are the way you portray us and not all other races of people are negative either! You've just got a lot of growing up to do. And I don't care how old you are. You can be 1000 years old physically (which would pretty much make you the walking dead) however, if mentally you don't have your program together then you're just sh!t out of luck! I'm just keepin it real Miss Thing!

Interesting to hear someone admit this; it seems that many blacks, particularly ones who live in cities, feel better if they can claim they are helpless victims of "society"(read: white oppression) when those blacks who take responsibility for their situation have made great strides. I may not like Oprah for her attitude, but she has come out of the slave mentality and made herself a success, as has Bill Cosby, and many others. Whites are more honest about this situation because they don't have anything to gain anymore by making it seem different than it is.

It's a shame how you generalize blacks so often. A few bad experiences doesn't mean that everyone's bad. And if anyone here has a slave mentality, it's you.

Your just being way too racially conscious, stop asking so many questions about "race". This is 2007 get over your skin color and move on with your life. You seem like the one that has the slave mentality sweetheart.

Im not even black, im hispanic and its bad how you generalize black people. Yea every race has their faults but who doesnt but that doesnt make it right to generalize a certain group. If your talking about white people then why do they always get away with everything.Exactly its bad to generalize because i know that not all white people are like that.Im not racist but every group has their faults and before you generalize a certain group i suggest you know what your talking about and know people who arent like that because that just shows your ignorance towards certain races.

Maybe you shouldn't overgeneralize. I'd be willing to answer any question you have truthfully. I'm in an interracial relationship so I think I have some ideas and thoughts that may go against some blacks and i'm fine with that.

So, i'll be looking through your questions to answer them as truthfully as possible. You better have some good ones! (j/k)
