I had a "hardly used" before and he was not programmed to be in a relationship. Had no idea what he was doing.
"Used up" has more experience, but that's not always good. (scratches and dents like someone else said already. Good analogy.)
Somewhere in between is best.

Semi-used is best. Kinda like buying a truck. Broken in, but not too many miles. Ya know. A lot of things just work a little better. All the parts are lubricated, important parts seen to function better, turn over easier, and respond quicker.

I think if you are used you need somebody with the same amount of life experiences. If not you your partner might bore you after a while.
