No! There is such a thing as self control, geez! If they don't want to be just friends, and that's all you want then their loss! Friendships often bloom into relationships as attration becomes evident, but boy + girl shouldn't always = sex. As for friendship, sometimes the best ones are worth the work! Good Luck!

It's obvious you don't know women too well. I agree with the responder who said starting off with "ground rules" sounds artificial. But beyond that, DUDE, get this: when it comes to sex - women call the shots, and they don't give up that control.
("A man on a date wonders if he'll get lucky. The woman already knows.")
It's all fine to be assertive, confident, strong, manly, whatever.
Oh, and by the way, being 100% truthful is not only overrated, it's damn near impossible. You just have to know where the stepping stones are.
I try to tell my son and son-in-law, but young men are such slow learners.
Feel free to email me if you want to hear lesson 2.

i had no idea sex even indirectly was a part of this site! I would never meet anyone from here or strike up friendships or conversations with the people I didn't know except in extreme circumstances. I meet people first before I decide to become friends with them.

Could it be that you start off the conversation by talking about sex even though it had not been on their mind at all? If I meet a woman and the first thing that she tells me is that she refuses to spend the night with me on the first date, then I am inclined to think that not having sex is the only thing on her mind and that she is always on the defensive. So I go on about my business.

Friendships can be hard work. But these girls were obviously not looking for a friend. Stick to your principles mate, they are good ones, and dnt let a few loose women put you off. Have fun and a laugh and dnt let it bother you too much. If they were truly looking at you as a friend, then why get distant?
Put it down to experience and forget about it.

Keep trying. It's likely that you just haven't met the right girls. I agree with your approach. So if the girls you've hooked up with are offended by your statement it's their problem and it's in your best interest to avoid them. Friendships can be hard work, but the effort is worth it.

No it absolutely does NOT have to lead to sex. But unfortunately theat what a lot of people come on line for.
Just persist with you viewpoint, make it known you are here for friends only and if they persist in coming on to you, give a wide berth.
As consolation, just be very flattered that they want you in that way!
