Why do all email services have .com after the email. id.?

Not all, but a majority of email services have a dot com for their address because thery are a commercial business. I have a few that aren't dot com from fortschools.org (organization), kanworld.us (US), and uww.edu (Education). It totally depends on the domain's purpose and how it was setup.
