Being conservative is the base of Human emotion. We want things, we want freedom and will fight for it, We realize when we die having God there for comfort is a nice feeling, having a Mom and a Dad is normal. (especially non drug talking and married) and expecting to work for our survival is basic to all life. And Welcome Home! ( I am away though in the US Army)

Most thinking people come to the same conclusion. Liberal policy is based on feelings with little regard to results. Conservatism understands that only policy compatible with human nature will work. This explains the hate liberals have towards Bush or any Conservative. Basically you could sum up the two views as, liberals WITT (we're in this together) Conservative YOYO (your on your own)

Funny b/c I used to be on the conservative side i.e. republican. Then I realized that their way of thinking and doing things are wrong. How can you say they are right on when you look at what they've done to this country. Take a look around. The rich are getting richer, thanks to the hefty tax breaks they get. The poor are getting poorer. Young people are dying in a war that we shouldn't be fighting, health care is rediculous...even if you have health care insurance. And lastly, conservatives think they are god. Their way is the right way. God help anyone who thinks differently than they do.

Why do you have to be one or the other? Why can't people say this policy that's more to the "right" is good while this other policy that is more to the "left" is good, too. I think most people are actually in the center or moderate area of the political spectrum. It's the fanatics within politics that try to force people to choose "left" or "right."

Truth is, both parties are moving more towards the middle right now. Just ask Schwarzanegger.

Because they are insane. I am a COMMUNIST and I can't vote for them. They make me sick. Their hypocrasy, their baby-killing, their whining.

I agree with them more than I disagree with them, but I would still vote for a strong Capitalist Pig before I would vote for a weak Liberal Sheep.
