Being a retired Police Officer I find pedophiles to be the worst of the worst. They are cowardly, they make victims out of children who will most likely suffer the rest of thier lives.
Chemical castration is a weak response for U.S. Government. As a nation based on democracy we try and set a standard for the world to follow; in this case we fail 100%.
To murder someone, with an ax is possible and to get a death sentence for it is improbable in practical terms as in California it takes 20 years to carry out the sentence; TEXAS is the exception as those boys don't fool around in Huntsville...and we salute you for that.
I think most Americans feel sex crimes against children is The Worst, nothing is worse; yet, we cannot manage to execute these monsters. This is where our nation is failing to set a standard of clear punishment for such a crime.
Chemical castration is a joke when they truly should have been executed anything other than that is being let off the hook.

i'm for it,there is no way for them to control themselves. a few years back in texas a pedophile requested it,saying he knew that was the only way he would stop,he was denied. i wonder if he offended again
