Since Moss and Porter will Return and the Raiders will Draft Calvin Johnson and Trade their second Round for Matt Schaub(falcons QB) and trade their Third Rounder for Bills HB McGahee. then use the rest of the picks on this Positions.......

4th-TE
5th-FB

The OFFENSIVE LINE will get help on Free Agency.

What do you think, and how would you put it.

That would help. The Raiders need to get mean again and tough. Porter is a whiner and should be cut. Schaub is awesome. I worry that Jamarcus Russell will be just another version of Aaron Brooks...he has a bigger arm and body, but is a poor decision makers with the football.

Im a raiders fan and those moves you talked about just arent going to happen. First Problem is the cap, the raiders dont have enough cap room to do everything your talking about, they are actaully very capped strapped. Also the falcons are not going to move matt schaub at this point because of the Vick marijuana incident and inconsistencies of Vick. Also the falcons Have just offered Schaub the highest possible tender, which mean any team trying to sign him would have to give up a 1st and 3rd round draft pick to aquire Schaub. And 3rd round pick for mcgahee is not gonna be enough, most likely they would want at least a 2nd rounder and a player in return, more likely a 1st rounder for mcgahee. I think the best the raider can do is grab russell with the first pick, thenuse the rest of the draft to try and get some quality linemen. They are not going to do much in free agency cause they dont have the cap room. So its gonna be another year at the bottomof the afc west. Hopefully another good draft next year. and then maybe we can get back to competing in the NFL. Realistically its gonna be another at least 2 years before the raiders are gonna be competitive.

Geez. Think they have enough cap room for all this dreaming? Moss still wants out. Porter's attitude will sour. McGahee will go to the Giants. They'll draft QB with the first pick (big mistake) and not go after Schaub. It's expensive and dang near impossible (no great prospects) to build a line through free agency. You have a bullet head moron for a coach. Sorry, looks like another sad year.

Good thinking on your part. But that's not going to happen. The Raiders will draft a QB. And why would the Raiders trade for Mcgahee? Lamont Jordan is still a good RB.

You just named tewo of the reasons the Raiders will be bad. Moss and Porter. The other is the owner. Same situation in Dallas, as long as the owner makes stupid decisions like getting TO they will go no where.

They will suck again, probably win about 5 or 6 games. Nothing more.

The defense is good, but if the Raiders get a vertern QB for 2008 season, might as well tank it and get another top pick..

You won't get McGahee for a 3rd rounder. Plus, I think that the market for McGahee is going to be bigger than expected. He is a consistent back (sans injury) that DOESN'T fumble. Besides for that, I don't see you getting Schaub for second round pick. Atlanta has asked for a mid first round pick for him, but I think that your scenario sounds perfect if you are a raider fan.

i think your a wishfull thinker.raiders will never get back to the promise land until al davis sells the team.he is a horrible owner who is stuck in the past.he keeps overpaying players well beyond their prime and they have a bunch of head cases. raiders need qb help, offensive line help,te,a wr that walks the walk and talks the talk and a coach who knows what hes doing.get used to picking high in the draft because you'll be in the cellar for the next 5-6 years.

I don't think a Raider Nation even exists. Maybe in the 80's.

Sounds like a good plan. If they actually do that they may be a much improved team. you should call Al Davis with your ideas.
