Cause If they are, they better start of with murphy's personality then how he does things as a regular cop first, then jump into robocop.

Robocop could be re-made with the right director and care for keeping the franchise profitable and sensible .

The franchise was made into a tv show,cartoon and sequels which diluted the character .

For me, I would leave them as classic movies...but I would love to watch a Robocop vs. Terminator type of movie....with special effects and the computer graphics these days...Robocop would be one kick-a** mother-f*$%er and smear the crap outta Ah-nold!!

The first was so great, I'd hate to see a remake. Besides they couldn't afford to do anything besides a CGI version. Anyway I don't see how they could market it towards 13-17yr-olds. It would have to be PG-13.

Leave a good thing alone...too many movies are being remade and they all never add up to the orig!
