I'm well past being upset with them. I no longer get angry or frustrated with their looney mindset. I am to the point where all I can do when they celebrate Vice President Cheney's close call is to scratch my head and wonder, "How do they live like that?"

They are so alien to a normal American's way of looking at life that I'm no longer sure they're even mammals.

Morgy: I'm from Planet Earth...more specifically the USA. You would know that if you read anything I wrote, as I'm an extremely proud American who (unlike the left) doesn't see America as responsible for all things evil in the world.

No, just young and inexperienced. However, if they're in their 40s and still a Liberal, then they have a serious problem.

I ask that you open your mind when reading my answer....please....

I am not writing as a liberal or a conservative. I read your question, and realize that you could easily substitute a couple of names, and this could easily have been written about conservatives by a liberal. Can't you see that? The polarization of the parties and their followers has become ridiculous! They see a different America than you do...and they see the President as a different person than you do. It is their right...correct? Isn't that freedom of speech?

The American public has become amongst the most intollerant on the planet...when you have to question the humanness of your fellow citizens, simply because they have different views from yours. And just what is normal, anyway? And what makes you soooo certain that your beliefs are in the 'normal' category?

How can America hold itself up any longer as the picture of democracy...when such hatred abounds within its own borders?

This is the problem with America today....language which labels people as "right" or "left" based on one or two view points. It's polarizing and that's why America is losing it's status in the world. We are too busy fighting with each other, which, by the way, the government likes because we are too busy harassaing each other to keep an eye on what they are doing with all of our money and resources.

Which planet are you from and when are you going back?

edit
I've read what you've written here and whilst you claim to be from planet Earth, you're clearly not in the same reality as everyone else.
Ok, that's not quite true - Norm De Guerre is in there with you.

I was going to ask YOU that!

Rightwing denialists are so alien to understanding REALITY.
FOR EXAMPLE:

You made a crack that people who cannot afford health insurance have a priority to buy a plasma tv.

Uh,no! NOT EVEN CLOSE!
Man that is WAY off base.

Hows life on Mars?

You are past angry, yet rant and rave about us...OK. And, if someone is happy about Cheney's close call, then they are the ones with the mental problem. But, yeah, thanks for lumping us all in one group and assume we ALL have that mentality. Shows you have the IQ of a turnip.

If they are actually celebrating Cheney's close call I would surmise that they may not be from another planet, but they are probably from a country other than the U.S.

No, I'm from right here, born in the USA. But thanks for asking. As far as your rant goes, I feel that same way about people like you.
