I need to analyse a data N=8.
The data i need to analyise consist of a arbiturary score of 1-5. I want to compare if there is any improvment over time, eg pre-treatment and 6 weeks post treatment. Should i use a non-parametric test like 2 related sample Wilcoxon rank test or can i just compare means with a T test. thanks

I think a t test would suffice -

Are you able to note which score each person had pre and post event?

For example I did a health education training - I gave a pretest and posttest. I gave everyone a confirming # to put on both tests so I could know what person 4 scored each time even though I did not know who person 4 was. It was to assess the validity of the training.
