If mum has stopped feeding the babies and they have not learnt where to get water or food yet, it can happen. Check to see that al the other babies are fine and do not have diorea. Make sure that they are able to get to the water and food easily, Check the cage for anything that could have poisoned it. If they are feeding and are well at six to seven weeks think about seperateing them from Mum for a week before they go to their new homes.

Babies need to be kept very warm and perhaps it got too far away from its Mom and got cold. Maybe wasn't getting enough food. By 5-6 weeks the babies should be pretty well on the way to being independent from their Mom and can start eating plain pellets and should have access to alfalfa hay.
Unless you take the baby bunny to a vet to do a necropsy, it is impossible to say exactly what happened.

Here's a link to info on baby bunnies that might help you to be sure the others stay fine:

Was there any blood ? mummy could have killed it
Was he small ? maybe he/she was the runt of the litter
The best advice is to phone your vet and ask about this ,
it may be some kind of disease
