This has what to do with local businesses?
I know I'd never hire a doper. They are glassy-eyed losers.

I think we all should be able to make our own decision about weed. If your in your own home and it is an appropriate time for smoking then fire it up. After all pot is smoked in its natural form.
What effects would come from this behavior though everyone would get high, they would forget to pick their kids up from school, they'd be late to work everyday, get fired because legalizing it wouldn't change companies views about their employees being drug free. I mean come on how would you feel if you knew your doctor, surgeon, or pilot just smoked some green. Or maybe your kids teacher or school bus driver.
Would we just stop with weed, maybe the crackheads would rally and decide they should be able to smoke whenever they want.
I think I'd rather just live in a country where I can't smoke pot.

Nope, its just another way to get high and stay high. you will get the answers that its no worse than booze so do we really need another high out there. Weed is bad, there are burnouts everywhere and you probably have seen them. I had a lot of friends in high school who were total heads and that was a lot of years ago and they are still stuck there, can't keep a job, don't take care of their kids, dirty, live like pigs...they are burnouts. We don't need more of that. If you don't think it hurts people its becaue you are burnout too and can't see it.

I say if there really is a "war" on drugs, then getting caught with marijuana should be like getting caught on the grassy knoll with a smoking rifle. If we're not going to punish severely for it, then why bother at all? There is no "war" on drugs...so why bother slapping people on the wrist. If there was a "war" on drugs....we lost it. Make it legal and tax the fool out of it.
