Hi Brittany, Toothpaste! Crest works really well. Just rub a small amount and use an "old soft" toothbrush to "gently" scrub. Rinse in lukewarm water and pat dry. XOXO Moonpie

Everyone has heard use toothpaste, but using it too often can actually damage your jewelry. Think about it - toothpaste is an abrasive (thats how it cleans your teeth!) Do you really want to rub that on your gold? I suggest using a mild soap (dish soap is fine) and warm water. Always make sure the toothbrush you use is SOFT BRISTLE, or again, you can damage your jewelry. (The above applies to gold, white gold, or platinum)
Silver is another story. Silver should be stored in a ziploc bag to keep the air away. After all, this is what causes it to oxidize and tarnish. Don't be afraid to wear it, just seal it up when not in use!
If you have any delicate stones in your jewelry, such as opal, emerald, pearl, then go ahead and invest in delicate stone cleaner or have it professionally done. You don't want to ruin your stuff!!
Check with your local jewelry stores - many offer free cleanings even for jewelry not purchased there!
