NO! Oh, there is NO WAY I would EVER want to go back there. High School is best left in history ... there is nothing there (other than the HS Diploma) that formed the basis of the rest of my life, my career choice, or my growth past that point in time.

I did further my education (College and Graduate Studies -- have UGrad and Grad Degrees), served a career in the Military (and got those degrees in the service), trained/cross-trained and re-trained for various career paths (all successful), survived despite what I experienced, and yes, had to overcome tragedy in my life ... but I consider that all what has made me the Empty-Nesting Single Retiree that I am today .. of which I can be proud of what I've accomplished, and the fact that I AM Independent, living alone (and HAPPILY), and yes, able to overcome all that the nasty ex throws in my way.

To live only for High School ... that is sad. It makes me wonder why the life stopped in those years ... what happened to keep one from growing and changing and learning how to go through the phases of life.

High School is an awkward phase .. and a transitional phase. It is the place where one is in transition ... and you need to go on to be a responsible adult (and grow into your responsibilities.

For sure. Loved high school. I would go back and NOT start taking drugs at 14 so that I would actually have a memory now.

Only to improve my grades so that I'd have had a 3.9 instead of a 3.4. Other than that; no; I hated high school because people were so immature.
