ya ...you can if you really want.....
take me as an example...i used to lie a lot just to 3-4 years back...but i realilsed that i really want ot get rid of that and hopefully i did!
now i dont like in "tonnes" as i did earlier....(means i still DO lie...but that's realatively a very little at the end of the day)

In my life i only tell lie on the teleconversation not in my real life. the reason is that when i was new to the corporate world i was not even able to say the people of phone that the person you want to talk is not in the office ( but the person asked me to ask so). So if i would have told the fact the person would not accept my honesty. Sometimes you have to be a lier, even if you don't want to be. Now success lies in the pockets of the liers.

This is a BASIC principle. There are wonderful explanations on this. One should try to analyse them.
Sat yam Bruyat, Priyam Bruyat.------Sat yam, Apriyam Nabruyat. Truth that is not appreciated should not be spoken.
When Vishnu comes to Bali as Vamana, for seeking 3 feet of land, Sukracharya the Guru of Bali explains what are all the occasions on which one can speak a lie. They are:
In the matter of ladies, marriages, when life is in danger or respect is in danger, one can speak a lie.
In Mahabharata war to dis-power Dronacharya, Dharmaraja speaks a lie as per the advice of Lord Krishna. If they do not do that their lives will be in danger.
Therefore one has to understand the situation and speak. For just fun one should not speak lies.

0-3. I can honestly say I go through weeks without telling a lie, but some days it happens and then they compound which is why I try to avoid it. Once I tell one lie I find myself having to tell other lies in order to cover for the first lie. And I suck at it anyways. I'm the worst liar and I think that's a good thing.

Yes, always tell the truth. There's hardly anything worse than a liar.
The only exception would be to dishonorable people who seek to harm you.

I'd say 2... but little baby ones, the kind so you won't hurt feelings. I make it a point to never lie when it really matters... I've found it will only make a bad situation worse.

answering the question, as it is,
it depends'
but i think saying 'lies' a hundred times wil make this avalanche of saliva in u're mouth and u'l probabli be forced to spit if u'v got any mucus resident in your oesophagus or swallow it if u're parched
