Yes they do. I was playing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star for my daughter, and she started in with the alphabet. That's how I made the connection. LOL. Great question.

It's true, they do have the same notes. Probably Twinkle came first, then someone adapted it to help kids learn their letters.
