Yes, Las Vegas was a good choice. This was, in a way, a trial run for Vegas. They've been really pushing Stern to let them get an NBA franchise for a while now and the financial success of all star weekend will be a good push for that to happen. Regardless of whether you think the NBA attracts thugs, that happens every all star year, not just Vegas. What mostly matters to the NBA is money, and if Vegas can provide steady attendance then they will eventually get a franchise.

No. Vegas is in basic terms too lots a who ya comprehend city. No group would stay to tell the story financially if it did not do properly superb out of the gate. the common individual would be taken care of like a no one till the vast Cats who run this city and the inns have been given bored with shoving the tickets down their ingredients and gamblers throats. by skill of then, they might have alienated the common fan who certainly will pay to work out the group play. in case you think of i don't understand what i'm conversing approximately, ask around our truthful city and do a head count sort of the kind of common people who attended the Allstar sport. minimum!!! Secondly, the Thomas and Mack midsection is antiquated by skill of at present's section standards. NBA commissioner Stern stated that on community television and is quoted interior the Las Vegas evaluation magazine. you do not placed a fashionable-day section up in one day!

It was a very good choice. It is a flashy venue, which is fitting for a flashy league. It brought back a little of the magic that All Star weekend used to have when it was Jordan and Dawkins battling for the Dunk title. Also, Vegas wants a team and I think that they showed that they have the fan base and the resources to support one.

I think the NBA should just pass out guns and ammo instead and tell the players to play in bulletproof vests. The West team in black vests and the East team in grey vests.
