Living on a ranch it takes all day to mow. The majority of the mowing is done on a riding lawn mower. Only the back yard using the push mower. I have 30 oak trees to mow around. Then the next day I done the trimming. I mow twice weekly and trim every other week.

We use both because we have an acre and a half to mow. The majority is done with a riding mower and then there are areas that we have to use the push mower. It takes about 2 hours to complete if there is not a lot of extra trim work to be done.

50-50. If I have the extra time, I push mow my lawn. It just looks better and I get exercise too. Usually about 2-3 hours for everything. Not bad for living in the 'sticks'.
How about you? How long does it take you?

I use a push mower. I have a small gate a rider will not fit thru. Takes me just under an hour to mow.

self-propelled mulcher looks nice no clippings to rake, little effort on pushing because you just walk behind and guide the mower
