We have old language courses (full sets of books, plus teachers books and tapes) ranging across every year group, covering KS3, 4 and 5. It seems such a waste to throw them out if someone could benefit form using them!

Sometimes they are able to sell them to used book places. There are school districts that have not been able to buy new books for years so it is sometimes good for them because even though they are old, they are newer than what they have.

While 3rd world countries could definitely benefit from old textbooks (because often they do not have any at all), the problem is that they are in the wrong language.

Check with some used bookstores and see if they are interested in buying a complete set. I dont know how you could get in touch with a school that is in desperate need, but maybe the store could?

Its a sad story that is more often overlooked in this day and age.
These poor old textbooks are just thrown away and are forgotton. No food, no shelter. Just left to fend for themselves in a world that does not care.
But with our charity T.L.F (textbooks, love, food) we re-home, nurse and provide social care to ensure that these ex textbooks get the life they deserve.
"Never had it so good!" comments an old 1986 French textbook."I eat regulary and get to see other French books in a library twice a week".

Put them on e-bay. Estimate a shipping charge as a minimum bid.
