No, if you are Rh negative, that only means that in your blood there is no antigen to produce antibody to what is known as Rh D antigen,. The Rhesus system is named after the Rhesus monkey, following experiments by Karl Landsteiner and Alexander S. Wiener, which showed that rabbits, when immunised with rhesus monkey red cells, produce an antibody that also agglutinates the red blood cells of many humans.the Rh factor is positive in 85%of human population and negative in the remaining 15%. If you believe in Darwin's theory of Evolution, you are a descendent of the monkey group, whether you are Rh Positive or not.

if you have a rhesus negative blood...means that both yr parents have rhesus negative too...
