my "c" drive was to full bought a slave which is the "E" drive nothing is transfering to it though how do I get programs to go on the slave drive...my "d" drive is my burner..when I go on programs and I right click it only says to move to "d" drive it doesnt say "e" drive..

When you installed the new hard drive your computer renamed it..The new hard drive should be D, and the burner should be E .....At least that is the way the computer I built are............

It is not feasible to move programs from one drive to another due to the information written into the registry that tells Windows where to find the program files it needs. The data (pictures, music, documents, etc.) itself is easy to move, on your C drive select the file or folder you wish to move, right click and select "Cut", go to your new hard drive, right click and select "paste". That is the simplest method to transfer data from one location to another.

move it to the d drive. the pc should rename your drives.
