There are a bunch of really good ones: Bitdefender, Kaspersky, NOD32, AVG, and PC-Cillin. I personally use AVG. I would not really reccommend Norton or Mcafee.

The best thing, if you don't know which to pick, is to download their trial versions and test them out for yourself.

in case you have a gadget fix disk or an OS disk and gadget fix is enabled, you may boot your laptop using that disk and run gadget fix. in basic terms fix your laptop to a prior time till now you encountered your difficulty. you will no longer lose any saved data, yet you'll be able to ought to reinstall some updates or classes in the event that they have been put in after the gadget fix date. My buddy had this difficulty some months in the past and that i used this technique and had his laptop up and working in decrease than 20 minutes.

In my personal experience, nothing can beat Norton Antivirus Firewall (and regular). That firewall is one major component though, it is great. Of course stuff can still get by even the toughest of systems, but I have never had any problems.

I would choose either Mcafee or Norton. You can reach their websites by going here:

www.norton.com and www.mcafee.com

Good luck.
