a baseball is smaller and harder than a softball
a softball has a circumfrence of 12" is easier to hit and pitched underhand, both are of similar construction, cork center, cloth/string windings and a leather stitched cover

Baseball is for men and softball is for "girlymen"......do not ever refer to softball as baseball in my presence...it is not!

boobs (softball bigger)
bat size (baseball bigger),
base distance (baseball bigger),
field size (baseball bigger),
ball size (softball bigger),
pitching style (softball underhand-baseball overhand),
speed and number of pitches (softball players throw more pitches- less volocity)
you cant lead off in softball-you can in baseball,
basically thats it.
and they bunt a lot more- ALOT more. so third base plays like 3rd pitcher

Pitching is underhand. Balls are Bigger. Field is Small. Bats are skinnier and Long. Gloves are Wider for the ball.and no grass in the Infield
