Who thinks David Blane or Chris Angel are MORE that Magicians?

Question

It's kind of a loaded question, being that I am a magician and have preformed many of their sleights.

but more to the question Why do you think this? Even when they admit they are just tricks?

Thank you Team Chief for proving one of my points! people actually believe these guys can do "magic" until they see one of their tricks exposed, then just like always they start to back pedal!

Calling David Blaine a "magician" is like calling a Subway employee a sandiwch "artist". He's the Paris Hilton of magic.

Neither they - nor you - are "magicians." You are all "illusionists." What the three of you do isn't true "magic," but an illusion meant to portray magic.

Blane and Angel are two of the more talented ones, to be sure, but they're still illusionists. I used to really like Angle until I saw a homemade video that showed how he does one of his self-levitation tricks. That really burst my bubble on him. Haven't cared to watch him since.

I don't like Blane, but Chris Angel's flying illuminated light-bulb was the coolest thing I've ever seen, and I don't care if it's just an illusion. I certainly can't do it! :)

i dont like david blaine much, never really did because a lot of his tricks can be easily explained.

criss angel on the other hand, id watch him wether or not i knew how he did it, because he just makes it look so cool. david blaine just seems to stuck up about it, criss angel looks like he really enjoys doing it for people to see.
