I think it should be somebody on defense. Ray-Ray has been the only one so far.........so somebody like Demarcus Ware, or Adalius Thomas.

I'd love to see Brian Urlacher on the cover. I hate the bears.

how about a coach instead of a player? Maybe show Lovie Smith and Tony Dungy facing off...

For players, I think you'd have to go with Manning, although Drew Brees had one helluva year. Reggie Bush will be on there in the next 2 years, but not so soon. He wasn't that big of an impact player.

Defensively, I'd love to see Jason Taylor. Or how about Bruschi, coming back after having so much medical problems.

I still say having a coach on the cover would be a good change.

LT can't do it legally since he was on the cover of another company's game once.

I'm guessing they add a defensive feature (and now that determines who's on the cover ----based on what kind of feature they added) after "boosting" the passing and running game (which the later could use more work IMO ---sure you can block by yourself now, but the AI is stupid as hell and can't run ---if you choose the RB, then the blockers run into eachother!). So I'd imagine they'd go with Jason Taylor since he was DPotY.

And despite being a Shawne Merriman fan who thinks he was the real DPotY, I wouldn't want him on it ---because it may sound weird, but I totally believe in the madden curse (or atleast that coincidences will continue to actualize it). It's just been so consistant.

I think it will be Peyton Manning(unless he refuses) as to the idea of Culpepper, he wouldn't be put back on this quickly. I wouldn't be surprised if it is a defender though. They reinvented Passing and Running. They need to reinvent the Defense. After all I don't think they will change the kicking again, nor do I think a kicker would get on.

It would have to be LT of the Chargers. C'mon...the guy broke all the TD's record and was unstoppable except for the play-offs. He followed the same pattern as S Alexander of Seahawks so he shouldn't have any problem in making the cover as Alexander did. Manning may have won the Super Bowl but his numbers weren't nearly as good as LT's were.

For defense, Jason Taylor. One of the better defensive players out there. For offense, i'm thinking Willie Parker. He seems to have tremendous speed, and a sweet stiff arm.

L.T. but for the sake of his team I hope it not him. We all know about the Cover Curse. Anyways as long as it is not a Raven player best of luck to em.

*Edit*- If you want a defensive guy , I am thinking Champ Bailey.

Drew Brees just because the way he helped turn the saints around last year. it could also be LT but they just did a RB so i don't think they will have 2 in a row

Peyton will be offered... he'll refuse.
LT gets the cover and breaks the Madden jinx
