The overwhelming majority of Americans do not hate ANYONE because of his past origins. Just about all of us came from somewhere else lol. We just hate evil people anywhere, whether those people are from another place or right here at home. We hate what they are, and what they do, and the pain and suffering they cause others. Just like every other part of the world Iraq had, and still has it's share of this kind of people, and what we did was rid Iraq of three of its most evil of them all, Saddam Hussein and his two demonic sons, whose horrifying deeds are almost beyond words.
Even the America that we know today, didn't happen in a few weeks or months. It took a much longer time to refine our early beginnings as a Nation, and we are still on that journey. There is no doubt in my mind that the seeds of democracy that have been sewn in the most recent times, will take root and grow, so that some day you, and other Iraqis, living here, or there, will be a part of something they can be proud of.
Iraq and its people go far, far back before the time of the monster, Saddam and his henchmen. The country and its people suffered three and a half decades under their reign of terror. Now it is over, and again the majority of the American People are glad to have played a role in ending it and paving the road to a brighter future. In the meantime, you, like all other immigrants from many places, are welcome here and embraced as a friend, a brother and a fellow citizen.

I'm not sure what answer you are looking for here. I think that most readers, and indeed most Americans would answer in the negative. Of course we don't hate someone we neither know nor have reason to mistrust. I am mainly Swiss. Though not hated as a race, mostly as a people that are viewed to be people who take advantage of others through their desperation. I should mention that some of my forefathers were part of a religious fury that swept Europe and immigrated to America on their quest to rid the world of Catholics and Jews etc. etc. (The Hugonauts) I have strong religious beliefs, but believe that the violence that they did robbed the world of life and knowledge and wondrous history. Do you hate me?
My belief is to live and let live. Failing that, hope that the historical winners of whatever conflict is brewing (and there always is one) will not leave your family hungry, cold, dead or even socially outcast. I feel deeply for the Arabic people of all nations who live peacefully among and alongside all other Americans. Regardless of my forefathers' beliefs, I am an American. I have fought for her, killed for her, have been crippled for her and have dreams that would make some peoples' heart stop. All for the country that has given me everything, my giving everything could never be enough to give back. My own children and grandchildren will reap the benefits that I have fought for and won. I hope that whatever your beliefs religiously, that you will understand that this country is the dream. Where nearly every everyone can have what they want with work and a sense of community.
Be well. Live well and prosper as you can only do in this country.

No! As long as your grandparents immigrated legally, you're more than welcome in the USA. Heck, your an American by birth anyway. We don't all have to be white to be good Americans. It's the millions of illegals flaunting our laws and sucking at the taxpayers trough that has many Americans fired up.

Why would anyone hate you? There's nothing wrong with coming from Iraq or any other Middle Eastern country, if people hate you, its probably because of who you are, and vice versa, people will love you if you are a good person.

Hating people on the basis of their ancestry is silly and only the most foolish and ignorant people would hate you for that.

I would only hate you for things that you have done directly to me that hurt me. Your grandparents have nothing to do with this.
