Karl Marx is the first person that comes to mind. He was the first to really make socialism, in the modern era, a movement. I am sure their was some other people out there before him who held similar beliefs but he was the most influential and his socialist theories are still influential in the sociolgical field to date.
I really think it would be quite impossible to name a particular person who first had socialist ideologies but Marx really is the founding father of the organised Socialist theory.

Any idiot that believes in communism is truely Evil. Let's not forget all the EVIL that the commies have spread accross the face of our planet. (anybody remember the deadly and evil actions of Lennon, Stalin, Mao, or anyother brain dead socialist?) Therefore the first truely Evil person in this world would also be the first commie, there it was the Devil.
