Last time I got a taxi from the city centre to the west end it cost 4.50 in a black taxi. Will be 1 or 2 pound cheaper in a private taxi.

should only cost £4.70 but depends also time of day , traffic hold ups, and last but not least the famous yer no local then? always seems to come into the conversation.
