I wouldn't do it ,it takes a lot of energy and time and gives you headaches...stress, misery, makes your life more complicated, ...but it's your own choice.

Two wrongs don't make a right and turn the other cheek are common sayings we should all live by but human nature is not that way. When a loved one is hurt our instinct is to get even. If our court system was fairer to the little man maybe it would be easier to let others handle the situation democratically. But through experience I know this is not so, the more people (right people) you know and the more money you have that is how things are settled today so the ordinary man becomes the vigilantes, taking on the wrongs that are being committed in society.

Revenge is a hollow victory. I've heard of some people who take years tracking down and "getting someone back" (whatever this may mean to them) for their perceived indiscretions.
But then what?
Its never as satisfying as you believe it will be; and the realization that you've wasted all this time and effort is often a huge let-down.
Go on with your life and let it go. Most of the time situations have a way of resolving themselves, sometimes in very unusual and unexpected ways.

No not at all because two wrongs and revenge do not or will not ever make it right. How have they hurt you? You may very well need counseling and help to get past this and if it was something illegal or abusive then let the proper authorities handle it.

Why??? What do you hope to achieve by getting back at them? The best revenge is living well... just forgive and move on. And besides, revenge is just about you, and your need to make them hurt... but what really happens is it reduces you to their low level of hurting others. Don't you want to be the better person? Forgiveness is not weakness, it liberates you from having to carry around that anger! Just tell yourself that we're all human, we all make mistakes, and that person was just not in a good place at the time. You can move on and be happy... it's all about the choices we make! Good luck!

Its not really right at all. Two wrongs don't make a right-Remember that!
Its not really right, because later they feel bad, even after treating you like crap or someone else close to you like crap.
Just remember...."two wrongs don't make a right."

Depends upon the type of "hurt' you are talking about, but as a general rule for me....you hurt me or my family and I will put a world of hurt onto you! Nobody messes with me or mine without retributions!

"GO AFTER"???
Since there are no details of how they hurt you, or what you intend to do in retaliation, I will say NO.
Better to let their Karma catch up with them.....it might not be years before it does, but sooner or later, it catches up with us all.
