It's official name is the Swiss Re tower but everyone calls it the Gherkin. It's offices so you can't go in it but you can visit the Tower 42 (formerly the NatWest tower) and see it from there and go to Gary Rhodes 42 restaurant at the very top.

I think you mean the Gherkin Building somewhere in the City. It is an office block. I'm not sure about the resemblance to a pineapple though!

It is called the Swiss Re Tower which is used by a swiss bank. I found this out while in London

This has already been answered but just to let you know that there is a nice wine bar that serves good food open to the public at the foot of it if you are passing.
