Really, there is none. This is for the life concept as a whole.
An individual's preason to live, it to help other's live better, or make a difference in the lives of other's pointless lives (for good or bad.)

1. You got life without asking for it - it came free. So enjoy.
2. Is there a reason to be otherwise? - No. Whether you like it or not, there is a limit on life. So use that time to live. Being alive is a wonderful experience.

The only reason for living is that we may pass our wisdom onto the next generation. If everyone wanted to not live, what is the purpose of there being an Earth. God would not have created us if he thought it was okay for us to not want to live.

On a biological level -- to procreate or to expand our species. Most all of our human instinct and intellect is aimed at procreation and the continuation of family. There are reasons that when women go pass their fertility that their physical body starts shutting down.
On a more personal level, I think we're all here to experience our personal journey. Different things hold importance to different people. The meaning of life is to find your own personal meaning of life, and to learn how to live according to your beliefs.

That's instinct, the instinct of survival. Once you are conscious that you are alive, you have no reasons at all but to continue living.

The same as their is reason for not wanting to die. Life, despite its struggles, uncertainties, inconsistencies and stress, does provide us many a moments of bliss and hence, is many a times more welcome than to move into the unknown zone of death and thereafter!!

To experience as much as we possibly can in the short time we are given, simply said.
I don't believe there is a deep philosophy to it---we are just lucky enough to be alive, and since life is precious we should enjoy it as much as we can. :)
