Okay, it's not under a tenner - but £14.99 is a great price & it includes the postage & packing.
Downloading from a free site ... along with it being illegal is likely to make you run the risk of viruses ... plus you may need to access the official Sims 2 site to download one of the patches & it's possible that you'll need a valid serial number in order to do so ... I may be wrong though.
By the way, I've just had a look on Froogle for you & found one for £7.50 - but I think I'd still recommend Play.com (lol)
