Angels and Demons or Digital Fortress. The Da Vinci Code was entertaining, but way too short. Digital Fortress unnerved me to my core, and Angels and Demons was just freaky as hell.

Toss up between Angels and Demons and Digital Fortress.

Angels and Demons is fantastic, I was gripped from start to finish! Whereas the Da Vinci code is sloppy, poorly written and uninteresting for the most part! Digital Fortress I can't comment on because I haven't read it!
Angel's & Demons can be read & re-read & is still completely fantastic!

There's nothing more relaxing and invigorating than a good book, expecially those that flow in a series. Personally, I just couldn't get into the Code. Normally I make it a point to read the book before watchin the movie, but after having the book for almost 2 years and not making it past the 5th chapter, I finally had to give in to renting the movie. Angels & Demons made for a more exciting read. Not a lot of unnecessary filler or dialog but a constant flow from one situation to the next.

According to me... i would take "angels and demons" and "digital fortress" as equally interesting...more than "the da vinci code". But for me "angels and demons" was the best dan brown novel i have read.

Nothing could beat angels and demons. It was the first Dan Brown book I read, and I just couldn't put it down. The illuminati was such a good story line. after reading the book, I became so inot it that I actually had to investigate whether or not the illuminati was real, and evidence for its present existence, lol. After reading it first, the following three books, (the davinci code, digital fortress and deception point) I became quite deflated as I had such high expectations from them. they were all good though!

Angels and Demons, followed closely by the DaVinci Code, then Deception Point, and last but by no means least, Digital Fortress.

Angels and Demons is better than the Da Vinci Code - never read digital fortress but I've heard it's rubbish. To be fair A&D and DVC aren't that great either.

I've only read the da Vinci code and it irritated me. A da Vinci expert would have been instantly aware that da Vinci wrote mirror writing. Reading the second part of the book, I kept saying to myself, 'Why doesn't the stupid idiot realise that it's mirror writing?'.
No problems with the fact that Jesus might have been married to Mary Magdalene and fathered off-spring.
Thought of something else. They go into a Rail station in the area of the Opéra in Paris (Gare St. Lazare) and come out of the station in an area surrounded by shops selling ethnic food and wares (Gare du Nord). Didn't convince me that reading other Dan Brown books would be a good idea.
