Not worth the trouble. Just let it keep cracking and get it fixed ASAP because the passenger side airbag depends on the windshield to work properly in many cars. And you no longer have a full strength windshield to protect you from road hazards like the one that cracked your windshield. Windshields eventually need replacing anyways even if they don't get cracked due to pitting and wear of the glass surface.

windshield places put a modified crazy clue in the crack under high pressure- but this needs to be done when it is small - 50-75 is the coast- your auto insurance ussually pays this ( cheaper than new windshield) but if that is a problem - go online under used windshields in your area- used parts places and get on if your car is old and money is a problem- otherwise - call replacement service and get it done right- price shop- you can save 50-100 dependening on time-- wish you luck--

No. If a crack has started to spread, it will continue. If the length of the crack is longer than the width of a quarter, the windshield cannot be repaired.
I just had my windshield repaired yesterday.

Go to a windshield shop and get them to drill a small hole at the end of the crack with their tungsten drill bit. That will stop it until you can get it replaced.

Unfortinately no, once its starting to move and spider web it will continue to do so until it reaches an edge. Most states require you to replace windshields in such a condition by law.
