He's weak. The ants keep crawling back out. Any suggestions?

maybe he's just tired of eating ants. Make him something different....like a PB & J sandwich, with some beetles on the side. He might like it!

Stand over him, with your arms folded in a surly manner, occasionally wagging a finger,and lecture him about the plight of millions of starving chinese anteaters, until he sees the error of his ways, and finally clears his plate. Simple.

go to the vet. he is obviously ill!!!! an anteater not eating ants come on

You can't he'll just wiggle free all the time, mix a few ants up with a weetabix and spoon feed him.

If your anteater is not hungry you can't force him. Just make sure hes comfortable. good luck.

take it to the vets , it is obviously ill if it is weak !!! stop messing round with home remedys and get it sorted properly or if you continue to try and do it yourself , it will amount to animal cruelty.

Just accept it may be aadvark for a bit and get him some anti depressants and anti- inflammatories- i think termite find it works.

he's properly just pinning for the fields...a good trained ant colony maybe a wise choice..
