I don't know what level you are at in physics, so I'll explain a simple one - called the simple pendulum (investigation measuring acceleration due to gravity).

All you need is a clamp, a long piece of string and a weight.
You measure a certain length of string (with the weight on the end) and then attach it to the clamp.

With the string taught, hold it at about an angle of 20 degrees from it's rest position. Allow the pendulum to swing, and then record the time for 30 oscillations (or periods).

Do this about 3 times for each length of string - you can either shorten the string or lengthen it, but take 3 sets of readings for about 3 different lengths.

The equation for the experiment is simple-:

Time period of 1 oscillation = 2 x pi (sqrt (length of string / acceleration due to gravity)

Re-arrange for 'acceleration due to gravity' 'g'-:

gravity = (4 x pi x pi x length) / (Time period x Time period)

You should get around a value of between 9.65 and 10.
It's a good experiment to also write up - and thus prove the acceleration due to gravity on Earth.

No i did no longer get this digital message and that's surly a primitive way from an novice Hacker to have your password. be conscious that yahoo (as an digital message service) is dedicated by regulation to maintain and keep all the clientele records (in spite of it extremely is right or no longer ) and back it up. From yet another hand each and every time we log in yahoo, we deliver ( throughout the time of the log type ) to yahoo records base our PW and digital message handle which captured and in comparison with the information which yahoo has and decrease than his administration. If for in spite of reason yahoo has lost this understanding (your digital message and password), you heavily isn't waiting to log in P&S and submit this question :-) Be keep
