If the simple interest on a certain sum of money amount to
$ 200 in 4 years 4 months, what is the interest on four times
the sum for one-fourth of that time at the same rate? Show your solutions, please?

It will be the same i.e. $200
We know that I=P*r*t
So if r is made 4 times and t is made 1/4 th of the earlier one,the product ramains the same or the interest would remain the same

I = PRT
200 = PR ( 4 and 4/12) or PR ( 52/12)
46.15 = PR substitute
I = 4( 46.15 ) ( 52 /12 ) /4
I = 46.15 x 52 /12
ITS THE SAME!! THE ONEFOURTH AND FOUR WILL CANCEL
