I tend to agree with the first 3 replies. I think you will find it will be coming from the sump plug.

If you think it is coming from the cylinder head you want to be looking around the top of your engine around your cylinder head, looking for signs of oil there. Does the oil on your dipstick look to have water on it? If it does that is usually a sign that the cylinder head gasket has gone. I think you'll find it is the very much less costly sump plug and seal that might want replacing.

Don't panic, it's unlikely to be the head gasket! That usually manifests itself as oil in the water or water in the oil, or blown out water.

More likely, as has already been said, to be something simple like a slightly loose sump bolt, sump plug, rocker cover etc. Good job you spotted it before it became a flood. Now you need to grovel around with a handful of rag to track it down and fix it.

If it is the head gasket, there will be water mixed with the oil in the engine sump. Check this on the dipstick. Other causes could be front crankshaft oil seal leaking and power steering fluid.

One sure way to find out is to dry and clean around the sump especially round the drain plug, and clean and dry around the the head gasket, check after about 100 miles and you should see if you have a leak.
