For my son who is almost 9 months old, I started to put him in the crib during the day for naps. Then after a few days I tried one night in his crib and he did his transition wonderful. I have a really great monitor that hears everything. So when I heard him move a little it made me feel better. I know that it's hard but it's better to do it now than later when they won't go into their crib at all.

Something else that can help is to get a crib positioner so she can feel something next to her like she's in a smaller place. Also try swaddling her before bed for the same effect, she'll think she's in a smaller space or being held.

Start by having her nap in the crib and at night taking the bassinet mattress pad and placeing it in the crib for her to lay on untill she gets use to it. also allow her to play in the crib so its not only for having to go to sleep and she can be more comfortable with it.

If it worries you try putting the baby there for naps at first so she can get used to the crib. Then try at night time.

Just put her in there. We put our daughter from crib to cot when she was 3 months old and had no problems at all.

Just start putting her in the crib. It's that simple. Make sure she's warm and comfortable, clean dry bum and belly full of milk.
That's all you can do.

start out with just putting her in there at nap time and gradually work up to bedtime. Put her in there at bedtime, if she wakes up to be fed and won't settle back down then put her in the bassinet for the remainder of the night. don't worry she will get used to it.
