I want a nice medium sized house with an enormous garden in a peaceful area. Possibly about 5 to 10 minutes by car from a medium sized town - the English countryside would be ideal. Or if I can't move country, then I want a house in the suburbs here in South Africa, definately not in a big city.

Dunno, I wanna get out of London, but at the same time I want my kids to grow up here like I did, so I'd have to say outer London would be the best. Somewhere they're near to the life lessons of the capital but still in a nice relaxed environment at home with some local wildlife.

Cornwall, South of France or North of Spain.
This is not where I'd like to live, it is where I will live. There is no way on earth I'd bring my children up in a British city. The schools are hellish, the other children are asbos and it is violent, dirty and rude. I am taking my children out if the ugliness of this so-called 'modern' world!

i would like to live on a farm. but i was raised in the city and though i dont get along in the city, I dont know anything about farming. hard work and chores for the children getting up at 3 am, but at least I could grown my food and sustain myself. i think this is closer to the way God intended life to be. at many times in my life i wanted to join the amish communities. but i could not accept their religious beliefs, nor their secular form of religious leadership. but having children on a farm can preclude a lot of the worlds evil.
Enviorenment, both social and political can make and break any persons veiw on life, and what a person believes in.

Ireland. the Emerald Isles. I would make them go to a Protestant school one year and a Catholic school the next. And just switch them around untill they were angry, confused teens and told me what was up finally. Then I would send them to a third world school. It might mess them up in all the right ways.

You spelled enviroment wrong... sorry, it was bothering me.
I want to live in London. I like big cities and with lots of stuff to do. I can take the children places, like to the zoo or shopping.

Its too late for me to have children now, but if I had had them somewhere coastal would have been lovely, plenty of fresh air and walks on the beach for them would have been lovely.
