I asked my doctor about this and she says that cocoa butter is good for the skin but will not get rid of stretch marks.
She said the only way around stretch marks is to use these creams on a regular basis before you get stretch marks. Basically you could use anything that keeps your skin hydrated so that there is more elasticity in the skin, that in turn reduces the risk of getting stretch marks.

Palmers Cocoa butter is good for the skin, makes you look younger and removes stretch marks. Buy a good birthing soap from the Body Shop.
