This is a good question. U aint an Indian I suppose. else question wd hv bn is India confident enough to win the cup. To answer ur quesion right away. It is right that after veing on a winning streak till recently, Australia are on a losing course. When other teams who are regular losers proclaim, leave alone confident of starting their Cup campaign, are confident of winning the cup, I suppose the confidence level of the Aussies has not come down to the level of making them panic(in terms of starting their cup campaign.
i think they will be able to show their talent either way..if they are on a losin streak or on a winnin streak..i hate to say this..but austrailia always come up with some type of strategy that makes the path to the worldcup smoother than it looks.so i think austrailia does have chance, only if Newzealand or India has a way to stop them. which i am pretty confident that this year austrailia wont be takin the cup home.
GO INDIA! GO NEWZELAND!
Australia is good team. When they lost their last five games some of their good players were out of the team. And Pinting is back now too. I know that what ever game it is Australian team is all about confidance..
But this is world cup you never know who will emerge as winner...Sout Africa, Newziland, India etc..
I hope not! They have too may injuries, an aging side and like you said five loses in a row, that's bad. Defending champions always come to the world cup as favorites, not this time

I think it will not put any major affect on their world cup plans. Aussies are truly professional and talented that they will take these defeats as a timely wake up call and will definitely come up with a new zeal in the world cup. Secondly I believe their recent defeats have generated interest in every cricket lovers as they looked unconquerable few weeks ago and every one had only one champion "Australia" in mind but now options are open.

that was not there strongest team and if you watched the games they were not pumped for them.
they were too relaxed and just going through the motion they are a force to be reconned with for the world cup.i personally think that it was a tactict, they dont want to go into the tournament as clear favourites and as the number 1 team
