In spite of getting doctorate in geology, it's sad to know that you are not able to get a good job. I myself did Applied Geology in under graduate and then switched over to computer applications as My geology lecturer who was Mangalore univeristy Gold medalist asvised us to switch over if possible as really really we need to try hard to get into ONGC or to be a geologist of any major mines. And also he added that he himself tried thrice to get into Ongc but never was able to clear the exams. As a Phd, you can try to join as a lecturer in a reputed university /college and if your major is in Earthquake engineering / Petroleum geology , you have a better chance. To add on , my batchmates who did their PG in Dhanbad school of mines and M.SC (Applied Geology) in IIT Mumbai are now working in Software field.
All the very best .

So who ghost wrote your Masters Thesis and Doctoral Dissertation? Obviously not you, not with the grammar in this question. Perhaps some remedial courses in English would help.
