I like to look at soundtracks when picking songs to choreograph to. They usually have a great selection of songs on soundtracks. Most recently, I have danced to:

Hit Me Up
By Gia Ferrel (Happy Feet Soundtrack)

Whammer Jammer
By J. Giels (Fever Pitch Soundtrack)

Upside Down
By Jack Johnson (Curious George Soundtrack)

Dirty Harry
By Gorrilaz (not from a soundtrack but just a really cool song)

Love Struck
By Justin Timberlake (also not from a soundtrack but it's got good beat)

I hope this helped you and gave you some ideas!

A lot of musicals have good snogs.. Oldies are also good, but you can find more modern songs to. Right now i am ding a tap to a Jason Mraz song and Janet Jackson. Also to "Im walking on sunshine". You can really find them anywhere. Tarzan's soundtrack is really good if it is for little kids.

anything can be good for tap dancing. usually it has to be fast (within reason) and should have a good 4/4 beat.
