It's nice to see that members of the Royal Family have not lost their talent for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. Prince Charles want's to see McDonalds banned. The man is out of touch with reality. If children between the ages of 5 and 15 were polled, do you think they would rather see an end to McDonalds or the Royal Family ?

I am certainly not anti-Royalist, despite what the lefties say. However, on this issue, Prince Charles is absolutely wrong. Perhaps he was badly advised. Although, I am sure this totalitarian government would approve of what he said, we supposedly live in a free market, not a command economy. It's almost as though he is trying to outdo the intolerant lefties at their own game. Governments, including Royalty, are not there to nanny us and tell us how to live our lives.
It starts with anti-smoking, then being overweight, then alcohol, what next? I have a feeling though that you are using this issue to have a go at the Royals in general. Although Charlie is wrong on this one, our lefty Government is wrong on everything.

Then again I'm an adult and though I hate McDonalds I still prefer it to the Royal family.

Maybe they should do the Mc Royal range and make the golden m a shape of an ear instead. The Mc Big Ears would be great chicken pieces like Charlie`s ears it would be perfect

Why shouldnt he have the right to say what he thinks,all of you on this sight give your views on anything,he was talking to somebody personally but some journalist has written it down.I haven't heard it recorded.I have often said to my grand kids McDonalds should be shut down,one of them doesn't agree but three of them wont eat from there.

They are both a blight on our society. Charles should lead by example to Maccers and step down. He's a drain on the public purse and serves no useful purpose, Maccers makes people fat, so they should also be banned. Down with the royal family!

Every child I know would rather keep McDonald's than have some old fogey that doesn't do much. To be honest, I'd rather McDonald's too. It keeps the kids quiet once in while!
