Yes... i don't know how to call them in english, but here in Mexico, we call them "chapulines" They're tasty with a little bit of lemon and chili...

A snail is'nt an insect, it is a mollusc, and I suspect a few insects have been eaten by me, without me knowing it

I like snails(think they are molluscs) and have accidentally eaten chocolate caterpillars and ants(son thought it a huge joke)Swallowed a few flies over the years as well.

I have eaten many insects as I tend to ride my motorcycle without a helmet. I don't know which species I've eaten.

I've eaten Witchety Grubs (Not sure how its spelt), They are very large fat white maggoty wormy things that are extremely high in protein and fat which is why they are traditionally eaten by the Australian Aboriginies. They taste ok, but look revolting.

I did eat an insect once, but not on purpose. It flew into my mouth when I was on a motorcycle.
